DLBP London attends Serle Court's Property Seminar
Last night, Andrew Ryley (Director of Planning) was pleased to attend Serle Court's latest property seminar. It focussed on legal disputes relating to problems arising from neighbouring land and how to manage these challenges. Such challenges include: rights of way and in particular issues around the development of land and whether this leads to an excessive use that is not permitted, private nuisance with a raft of recent Supreme Court judgments on this following the Tate Modern decision last year, and strategies for handling neighbour disputes.
Thank you to Serle Court for the invitation and also to the excellent guest speakers, including Christopher Stoner KC, Jennifer Meech, Amy Proferes and Andrew Bruce. It was also great to catch up with andrew francis, and to meet new contacts.
