DLBP secures part retrospective planning approval for mixed residential-office use in Ealing town centre
DLBP is delighted to have secured part retrospective planning permission on behalf of a private client for a mixed residential-office use in Ealing town centre.
Our client approached DLBP with the intention of making an application to convert their current large Victorian detached home into mixed-use, comprising office space on the ground floor and residential on the upper floors. Planning permission would reduce stamp duty and inheritance tax associated with the property.
As part of the application, DLBP prepared a detailed Planning, Heritage and Design and Access Statement to justify the principle of a mixed-use in a town centre location and assess its impact on the character and appearance of the Ealing Green Conservation Area.
Working collaboratively with the Council, DLBP sought to ensure the internal arrangement of the property was acceptable and responded to the Council’s initial concerns, resulting in an Officer recommendation for approval.
DLBP is very pleased to have secured a positive result for our client and have saved them significant costs in the process.
