The UK Autumn Budget - key takeaways for planning 

The topics of planning reform and infrastructure investment were firmly established in the recent Labour Budget which promised to support the delivery of 1.5 million new homes over this parliament.

Positively, Labour has confirmed its intention to issue its response to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) consultation by the end of the year.

It also revealed that the Planning and Infrastructure Bill will be introduced early next year which will set out further legislative changes to accelerate the delivery of high quality infrastructure and housing.
