DLBP Attends Atlanta’s Healthcare and Senior Housing Summit

The other week DLBP was pleased to attend the Atlanta Healthcare and Senior Housing Summit hosted by Bisnow.  The conference was very enlightening with discussions by many major figures in the Atlanta healthcare and senior living industry.  

Panelists in these industries delved into topics discussing importance of adaptability within the senior housing industry and within design since market interests change every seven to ten years.  With Georgia rated the number one state for business, as more and more major companies and executives move to Atlanta and Georgia, these executives bring their parents with them further instigating market demand for senior housing and health facilities.  

Current events and their impacts on the senior living and health industry were discussed, emphasizing a consistently growing demand for senior living and that certain uses, such as medical offices, are one essential asset class that is termed to be “recession proof.”

These conversations provided valuable insights and connections as DLBP and Grace of Georgia Developments furthers the senior living and medical office project in Cleveland, Georgia.  We thank Bisnow and all the panelists for these engaging and thought-provoking discussions.
