The DLBP Atlanta team had a fantastic time recently attending and sponsoring Bisnow’s Atlanta Construction and Development event.

DLBP Atlanta is delighted to announce a recent milestone in our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional urban planning services. Our Director of Planning, Artagus Newell, alongside Planner Devynn Glanz, recently submitted a rezoning application in unincorporated Hall County on behalf of our client Grace of Georgia Developments LLC.

The DLBP US team has recently undertaken several strategic site searches and follow-up site visits across the 21-county Atlanta Metropolitan.

DLBP is delighted to have successfully secured rezoning on behalf of our client, Grace of Georgia Properties LLC, to support Spring Lake Village, a proposed Active Adult community in Cobb County.

Grace of Georgia Developments LLC is in the planning stages for Sardis Park, a proposed lifestyle community of vacation-style homes for year-round living. This development will feature 132 homes surrounded by greenspace amenities, including pocket parks, walking trails, and waterfront common areas.

Last week, DLBP’s Director of Planning Caroline Burnette Dervan attended the FSU Real Estate TRENDS conference, hosted by Florida State University’s College of Business. This annual event gathers real estate professionals from across the southeast and beyond to hear from industry experts and network with peers.

Last week, DLBP Atlanta travelled to Savannah, Georgia to attend the Georgia Planning Association’s Fall Conference.  The DLBP team attended a variety of breakout sessions, including AICP exam preparation sessions, and lectures on multi-modal transportation, climate change impacts in Georgia, and messaging strategies for planning materials.

The Michelin Restaurant ratings system is set to bring a national and international focus on Atlanta’s culinary scene.

Tuesday evening the DLBP Atlanta team had the pleasure of attending the Bisnow Atlanta Fall Kickoff Schmooze in Colony Square.

Earlier this week, DLBP Atlanta met with planning and zoning staff in Hall County, Georgia to discuss an exciting new project that is seeking rezoning.

Earlier this morning DLBP LLC was attended a special presentation by urban planning expert, Tracy Hadden Loh, through the Central Atlanta Progress. Tracy discussed four converging crises: (1) COVID-19, (2) economic fallout, (3) need for racial justice, and (4) Climate change, and strategies that can be used to mitigate these issues downtown.

The DLBP UK and US teams recently attended an interesting talk on the applications of GIS for urban planners, as part of our internal programme of Continued Professional Development.
